Here at Snappy, we are celebrating Independence Day all month long with our July Collection!

To help celebrate Independence Day and pay homage to the sacrifice our troops make, this special collection features products from Veteran-owned and Military Family Businesses. We are also proud to partner with Legacies Alive, a charity run by combat veterans to support the families of fallen heroes.

Keep scrolling to take a sneak peek at some of the amazing businesses offered in the collection.

Our Proud Partners:

Tweak and Twine

“I’ve always been drawn to quality products in beautiful packaging. For years, I noticed a lot of creative entrepreneurs and businesses that had these amazing brands, with impressive websites and original collateral  but that their gift options were either a cellophane-wrapped basket or silly branded swag. I daydreamed about creating fun, unique, design-forward gifts that would provide an on-brand gifting solution to better represent all those awesome brands out there!

After serving 8 years in the Air Force, I decided it was time to start day-doing my day-dreaming. I founded Teak & Twine in 2015 and it's been an amazing ride ever since! Fast forward to now and our company has grown more than I ever could have imagined. Our small (but mighty!) team creates gifts for ALL occasions, big and small!

Every single one of our gifts includes unique, quality products from small businesses from all over the country. We work with over 100+ independent artisans and small business owners, supporting tons of American-made, minority-owned and fellow women-owned businesses!

We also specialize in custom, large-scale gifting projects. From branded tags and stationery to custom boxes, belly bands, and stickers, we make sure brands look their best! We've had the pleasure of working with tons of amazing companies to help them make boring corporate gifts a thing of the past.”

 Legacies Alive

“The term “Gold Star” describes a family member who has lost a loved one in military service.  Founded by combat veterans, Legacies Alive exists to strengthen and support America's Gold Star families and to bring national awareness to the life and character of all service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Many members of our organization have lost loved ones, fellow comrades, as well as family members. We connect personally with our Gold Star families to provide the support that we know is so critical, through various mediums (check out Legacies Alive to learn more about our Challenges, Projects, and Events!).

Our vision is for every American to understand and appreciate the sacrifices that Gold Star families have made and continue to make for our freedom. Our team wants to be able to ask any American, in any corner of this wonderful country, ‘What is a Gold Star family?’ and he or she can say, ‘A family that sacrificed so that I may be free.’”

Rollers

“Minnesota-native Matt Butler is the inventor of Rollors. The concept was first visualized on downtime between deployments overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan supporting combat operations. Upon return, Matt developed a prototype in his garage that was a hit at BBQs, parties, and other outdoor get-togethers. Around the time of the recession; Matt saw many local veterans out of work that had the resident woodworking skills that helped spark the light bulb onto a means to help them. He then decided he wanted to employ local veterans to help construct the wooden disks and wooden, cone-shaped targets used in the game in their home workshops.

After a countless number of games were handcrafted, packaged, and sold through the website, church, craft fairs, and other types of venues it was then distributed in brick and mortar retailers across American and has even started distribution outside of the United States. After helping numerous veterans get themselves back on their feet from the recession he has it developed outside of the United States to be able to get it to a price point so many more people and families can enjoy the fun.

Rollors has turned into an award-winning and unique game which is revolutionizing beach and backyard fun.”

We are also happy to support products from:

Mutt’s Sauce

“The man who created Mutt's Sauce, Charlie "Mutt" Ferrell, Jr. spent countless hours taking every great flavor in the kitchen and putting it in just the right order. First, the flavor is sweet, tangy, with a little bit of heat (in that order). Unlike barbecue, it's very pour-able, meaning, you can make drinks with it! You'd never drink bbq or put it on a salad, but you can with Mutt's Sauce.

Following his passing, Mutt left it to his granddaughter (who was serving in the United States Air Force, just like him). Her mother told her in 2013.  With no instructions (and shocked/humbled by the honor), she decided to have it bottled, with his name and face...and share it with you.

Every bottle of Mutt’s Sauce has been made with love and determination to continue his legacy.”

The Wounded Warrior Project

“More than 52,000 servicemen and women physically injured in recent military conflicts. 500,000 living with invisible wounds, from depression to post-traumatic stress disorder. 320,000 experiencing debilitating brain trauma.

The Wounded Warrior Project provides a variety of life-changing services to veterans of the US military, from education programming, to mental and physical health services, to community support, and beyond.”

Rumi

“Rumi brings flavorful, ethically sourced, and socially responsible spices from Afghanistan to our customers while catalyzing sustainable rural economic development in Afghanistan and providing countless jobs to Afghan farmers and women who harvest and process the spices.

Rumi’s founders were a team of military veterans who served in Afghanistan with the US Army. They developed our strong Afghan networks and on-the-ground understanding of how business is conducted. With this knowledge, we built the critical relationships, partnerships, and organizational infrastructure necessary to operate within and out of Afghanistan.”

Charliemadison Originals

“Charliemadison Originals is a brand dedicated to encouraging and inspiring women to stay anchored to what’s most important in their lives. Each bracelet holds a special meaning that will serve as your everyday reminder you can wear around your wrist with pride. And that cute signature leather knot on each of our bracelets? It’s a symbol that ties us to their U.S. Navy roots, our mission, and our belief in the power of family and community.”

Naturally London

“Naturally London strongly believes foot + hand care equals selfcare. Our non-toxic products do not contain any synthetic colors, artificial fragrances, parabens, wax, mineral oils, phthalates, sulfates, petroleum or micas. Our in-house recipes never have water as the first ingredient.

Naturally London is a veteran-owned, women-owned business. Our products are Vegan Certified, as well as PETA and Leaping Bunny Certified.”

R.Riveter

“Years ago, new military spouses Lisa Bradley and Cameron Cruse found themselves asking the question: why is it so difficult to find meaningful employment?

Both were highly educated, creative, and determined. Yet neither was able to find work. Employer after employer turned them down.

What began as an entrepreneurial dream and an outlet for improving their employment situation quickly grew into much more than just selling a few handbags. Although the company has grown from its humble beginnings in an attic, the mission has remained the same.

‘R.Riveter doesn't hire military spouses to make handbags. We make handbags to hire military spouses, and create a greater sense of mission.’”

Doc Spartan

“Our business was originally founded to help people heal their wounds with the natural ingredients we wanted for ourselves and our families.

We've grown from Renee making natural products in her kitchen for members of Dale's gym, to building a company that's made it all the way to the Shark Tank, and beyond.”

Mineral and Matter

“Female-founded by Stacey Foster, Mineral and Matter empowers women within our team of skilled jewelers with creativity and trust, in a productive and relaxed environment rewarding attention to detail and craftsmanship.

We are committed to our social community, through giveback programs and events via Small Brands Take a Stand, and aim to use our social platforms to educate, uplift, and empower the community. Each month, proceeds from our Activism Line goes to a worthy cause or organization.

Our jewelry is hand fabricated with quality metals that hold up to everyday wear. We make sure that all the other makers we stock have the same level of craftsmanship. We're committed to carrying jewelry that will stay with you for a while.”

Black Rifle Coffee Company

“Black Rifle Coffee Company is a veteran-owned coffee company serving premium coffee to people who love America. They develop their explosive roast profiles with the same mission focus we learned as military members serving this great country and are committed to supporting veterans, law enforcement, and first responders. With every purchase you make, they give back.”

Be Made

“Be Made, Inc. is the creation of a mother-daughter duo. Jordan, Sue’s daughter, is a graphic designer and loves the challenge each new day brings at Be Made. What other place can you design, create, showcase, and sell so many items you love? Sue has a strong head for the business side of things, yet balances this with creativity and new ideas (that you can count on loving). She raised her family alongside her husband on their family farm just outside of Hays, Kansas. With this duo…anything is possible!

Luckily for their shoppers, these two women share a love for all things unique, inspiring, and well designed. The products you’ll find in their store are nothing short of extraordinary and unique! Being avid shoppers themselves, Jordan and Sue understand the need for great variety.  There truly is something for everyone, in every category. It’s safe to say that you’ll never leave empty handed! New products are consistently being added day by day.”

Sword & Plough

“Sword & Plough is proud to donate a portion of the profits from all Sword & Plough Sunglasses Case orders to The Mission Continues. Founded in 2007, The Mission Continues empowers veterans facing the challenge of adjusting to life at home to find new missions. The non-profit organization deploys veterans on new missions in their communities, so that their actions will inspire future generations to serve. With your purchase, you help fund The Mission Continues' annual Women Veterans Leadership Summit.”

BenShot

“We are a father and son team based in Wisconsin. Our mission is to create unique glassware designs. Our "Bulletproof" shot glass started as a father and son project in 2015 and developed into a family business. Everything we make is our own design and made in the USA.

Our glass workshop started on the grounds of a re-purposed furniture factory formerly owned by Thomas Edison in rural Wisconsin. The vintage work space and north woods surroundings provide a unique glass working environment resulting in truly extraordinary glassware.

Giving back to our community is important to the team at BenShot. To date, we've donated to more than 500 non-profit organizations across the country, providing us with the opportunity to support military veterans, first responders, law enforcement officers, and mental health causes.”

Alpha Coffee

“Alpha Coffee is a veteran and military-spouse co-owned and operated company dedicated to offering customers amazing coffee, promoting the warrior lifestyle, providing the highest levels of service, and giving back to our military and veterans.”

Frag Out Flavor

“After leaving military service, I struggled once I quickly realized I was no longer a part of it. I couldn’t find and attach to the same brotherhood I once knew and was a part of. It was a serious challenge. And I knew I was not alone. Many of us leave military service and feel the same way.

So, the question soon became ‘how can I integrate back into that life even though I’m out now?’

My focus was zeroed in on engaging with other like-minded individuals who share a passion for our past military life, great food, and BBQ. And that’s how the brand came about. A brand centered around a lifestyle I was once a part of.”

Natural Life

“We call our products ‘treasures’ because they are things you stumble upon while out and about and just can’t resist… whether it’s a saying that speaks to you, a perfect little gift for a friend or family member…or something to wear or put in your home that makes everyday life more fun!

100% of the treasures we make can be found on our website; however, you may discover some of our treasures in over 5,000 retail stores across the United States and in many countries around the world!”
