Snappy Gives Back: Supporting Local Parks at LIC Waterfront’s Annual 5K

This month, as part of our company-wide philanthropy program, Snappy Gives Back, the Snappy team partnered with Hunters Point Parks Conservancy to sponsor and participate in their Annual LIC Waterfront 5K. 

This event takes runners and walkers through the streets and waterfront parks of Long Island City and is an extremely popular family-friendly event that draws casual and competitive runners alike.

Snappy was the premier sponsor of the 5K, which benefited the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy. The Conservancy helps to activate, clean, and plant in the Hunters Point South Park and Gantry State. Snappy’s generous donation can translate to a summer of free public programming for all ages, 3 years of tools for garden volunteers, or 5 environmentally hardy picnic tables. Over a dozen of the Snappy team and their pups came to volunteer and run, and had a great time getting outdoors for a great cause.
