This month, as part of our company-wide philanthropy program, Snappy Gives Back, the Snappy team partnered with Publicolor to paint classrooms at a public high school in the Bronx, NYC.

Publicolor is a stay-in-school youth development program that engages disaffected students in their education two days a week for 4-6 years through a continuum of design-based programs that mentor them for success in school, college, career, and life.

"Working with Publicolor was an incredible experience,” says Casey Feinberg, a Client Partnership Director at Snappy. “It was inspiring to partner with students and volunteers, hear their dreams and aspirations, and get to know each person on a more personal level! I loved learning about their hobbies and sharing my personal stories, and the positive energy that flows from this program is contagious. I can't wait to return for the next volunteering opportunity!"

With schools shifting to remote learning over the past year, it's been an especially tough year for disengaged students from underperforming schools. We are so thankful to our team for making a difference by making their classrooms extra special. Here at Snappy, we believe there’s always time to make the world a little brighter, and we’ll be spreading more good news from our Snappy Gives Back Program each month.
