Lighting up the expo hall at SHRM 22

Snappy is officially back to attending industry events and trade shows to spread the word about sending smiles - and we couldn’t be more excited!

After a break from attending in-person events, we were thrilled to chat with HR and Business Leaders from across the US at the SHRM Annual Conference in New Orleans. 

We’re gonna need a bigger booth

SHRM is the world's largest convention of HR professionals, so we wanted to have a huge impact - especially after not attending in-person events for a while! 

Being in a room of 15,000 people means we had to give attendees the best experience we could by showcasing our platform, gift options, and customizable swag capabilities!

Inspired by our office in Tel Aviv, Israel, our booth theme was “The Gift Shop,” so visitors could come and check out some sample products and have great conversations with our team. Our trusty mascot also made an appearance each day for photos, hugs, and the occasional dance party.

A little nostalgia goes a long way

Inspired by one of our many digital gift reveal experiences, we customized a rainbow light-up claw machine filled with plushies of our mascot, Snappy (always a crowd favorite). We were so humbled and excited to see how popular it was among attendees! 

From the moment the expo opened to even after it closed, we had a long line of people wanting to try their luck at the claw machine. To make things even more exciting, we filled the claw machine with specially marked Snappy plushies with gift codes worth anywhere from $25 - $500!

But, win or lose - we made sure everyone walked away with a plushie. 

What Snappy means to our customers and us

One of our favorite parts about attending SHRM was getting to say hello to many of our customers face-to-face and hear all about their Snappy experiences. 

We had a video team led by our Marketing Manager, Ciara Appelbaum, capture some of these amazing customer stories on camera - we can’t wait to share these stories with you soon. 

That’s a wrap

As all great things must come to an end we finished out our experience at SHRM ‘22 with over 2000 visitors to our booth! 

We couldn’t be happier with the wonderful experience we shared with each and every visitor to our little Gift Shop. To say it was a labor of love is an understatement - from inspiration, to design, to the final build, we made sure to leave no details behind in making an impact at the event.

And we’re already planning on an even better experience next year in Las Vegas!
