Senior Marketing Manager, CRM & Growth

We are looking for an ambitious senior marketing manager to join our fast growing team and lead our email & in-app communication programs to our B2B customers.  Reporting to the B2B Marketing Director and working closely with our Head of SMB and Product, you will be responsible for leading the development of all of our onboarding, activation, cross-sell and growth comms, bringing together deep expertise in customer targeting with beautifully crafted messaging that drives results. This is an exciting time to join Snappy, as we are opening our platform to over 10 million businesses, and launching a range of new features and partnerships.

You will

  • Build a deep understanding of our customer base, their lifecycle state and needs, and use these insights to build out impactful marketing programs to drive excitement, engagement and growth  
  • Define and develop email/cross-channel sequences and one-off campaigns to drive activation, adoption, usage, cross-sell and customer retention, and to launch exciting new products and features
  • Develop copy and designs for our comms, partnering with our creative studio where needed
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improving our marketing comms, and collaborate across Marketing, Sales, SMB and CS to bring to life better solutions and services for our customers
  • Measure the impact of your programs, and continually A/B test options to drive improvement
  • Own marketing data and permissions, working with RevOps and the Data teams to ensure that our comms programs are compliant and based on high quality customer data
  • Partner with our product team to align product & marketing comms to deliver a seamless customer experience to our users
  • Work with our creative team to design high-impact email & messaging templates
  • Develop plans and programs for international expansion + ad hoc projects as required

You are

  • An ambitious & passionate marketer, who is looking to make an impact at one of America’s fastest growing startups
  • A digital native with strong knowledge & interest in current & potential platforms including the likes of Hubspot, Marketo, Segment, Braze, Iterable, Intercom, G-suite, Webflow, Zapier, Qualtrics etc
  • Well-versed in using data, segmentation & targeting to ensure comms are timely and relevant
  • An outstanding written communicator with excellent messaging & copywriting skills
  • An effective collaborator who is able to drive results themself and through partnering with others
  • A self-starter who is happy both setting strategy & rolling-up their sleeves to get things done
  • A fast-learner and naturally curious person with strong problem solving skills
  • A strong project manager with a razor-sharp attention to detail
  • Familiar with the challenges and opportunities of working in a fast-growing startup environment
  • New York / East Coast based (the role is currently remote, but may move to hybrid)

You have

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of experience - in a marketing or a digital role, in house or with an agency/platform
  • Hands-on experience of using / configuring sales & marketing automation / email platforms for example Hubspot, Sendgrid, Intercom, Marketo, Eloqua or similar
  • Bonus : High-growth, scale-up experience in an SMB / Consumer tech-led business
  • Bonus : Experience of coaching/managing team members
